​As Lead Assessor for Early Childhood Education Monitoring at the Vander Weele Group, Kaye is responsible for leading the assessment of Prevention Initiative (PI) programs. Kaye coordinates monitoring schedules,  conducts assessment tool training, and ensures quality reporting.   She is trained in and certified by the authors of the Home Visit Rating Scales (HOVRS-3) and the Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS-R) tool. She co-created the Prevention Initiative Quality Evaluation Tool (PIQET). Presently, she uses the Prevention Initiative Compliance Checklist (PICC), HOVRS3, PIQET, and ITERS-R tools to assess PI programs and provide objective monitoring reviews.

Prior to joining the Vander Weele Group, Kaye worked as a Quality and Grants Specialist for the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago. In this role, she provided coaching and technical assistance services for home and center-based childcare programs on ERSI tools and managed the disbursement of quality grant funds.  Among other tasks, Kaye developed and facilitated workshops and training sessions for providers as a CCRR professional development trainer. Additionally, Kaye was the Director of Sprouts Academy Preschool, where she managed a Reggio Emilia-inspired program for children aged two to six. Her responsibilities included curriculum development, children and teacher assessment, schedules coordination, policy creation, and accreditations processes. Kaye holds a Master of Science in Child Development from the Erikson Institute, among other education-related degrees.
