Stephen Miller serves as the Vander Weele Group’s Corporate Lead of Training and Development. In his role, Stephen leads the end-to-end design, execution, and scaling of learning architectures across the firm’s national monitoring, compliance, and investigation initiatives. Known for combining adult learning science with agile methodologies, he aligns workforce performance with strategic growth—notably architecting Vander Weele University, modernizing onboarding, and leading rapid-scale technical training that supported a 44% organizational expansion within a single year. Stephen specializes in bridging complex regulatory requirements and behavioral capability-building, enabling cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to execute critical oversight of government-funded programs.
Stephen brings over two decades of transformative L&D and talent development experience across corporate, government, public safety, and academic sectors. Prior to joining the Vander Weele Group, he served as Global Leadership Learning Manager for Brambles, where he oversaw leadership and talent development programs for more than 12,000 employees in 60+ countries. In this role, he directed a worldwide Graduate Development Program, driven by over $5M in annual business impact. He was also part of the elite team that elevated global employee engagement scores from 72% to 87%.
As a former Business Consultant and Adjunct Instructor at Valencia College, Stephen provided high-impact organizational development, leadership academies, and executive coaching. His extensive client portfolio spans Fortune 500 enterprises, public safety agencies, and government bodies—including Darden Restaurants, Mitsubishi, Lockheed Martin, AdventHealth, PepsiCo, Six Flags, Orange County Public Schools, and the 9th District Court of Florida. Additionally, he led master’s-level leadership programs for the Criminal Justice Institute—training law enforcement leaders across the Orlando Police Department, Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and regional fire departments—and directed academic instruction for international leaders within Valencia’s Disney internship program, hosting 17 countries.
Stephen holds multiple industry certifications, including Certified Online Learning Facilitator (COLF), Google Certified Training Professional (GCTP), Organizational Change Management (OCM), Crucial Conversations, Korn Ferry Coaching, DDI, DiSC, MBTI, and Ethical AI Integration. He is an expert in LMS architecture (iSpring, Workday, Absorb, Cornerstone, PeopleSoft) and virtual facilitation, recognized for translating complex business and compliance concepts into engaging, performance-driving strategies.
